Ziggy's Training

They are monogamous birds and have a long-lasting relationship, usually beginning their breeding season around one year after reaching sexual maturity. The hen typically lays two or three white eggs in a tree cavity which hatch after about five weeks. The chicks are then released from the nest about 90 days after hatching and leave their parents around one year later.
These birds are ideal for those with the time and resources to provide them with the best care. They are smart and social, and they can be taught a range of tricks and behaviors. Although they can be noisy at times, they are generally playful and curious.
